He is still an attorney today. Fred Gray's Home Home Fred Gray lives in Montgomery, Alabama at age 90. He has been living there since he was born. He was born on Dec 14th, 1930. Fred Gray's Family Family Fred Gray's wife is Bernice Hill Gray. They have 4 children. Their names are Deborah, Vanessa, Fred Jr. , and Stanley. His parent's names are Abraham and Nancy Johnes Gray.

Transcript: Background Info by Erin H. and Erinn R. The Picture of Dorian Gray Wilde was born on the 16th of October 1854 and he died on the 30th of November 1900. During his life he was one of Londons most popular playwrites. He was known for his wit and his flamboyant way of dressing. He refined his ideas about the supremacy of art in a series of dialogues and essays. He then incorporated themes of beauty and aesthetisim into his only novel, The Picture of Dorian Gray (1890). It was rumored that Wilde, although married with children, was gay and had a lover. Oscar Wilde Oscar Wilde Pictures of Wilde Pictures of Wilde Aesthetisism Aestheticism is an art movement that supports the emphasis of aesthetic values more than social political themes. It focuses more on being beautiful besides having a deeper meaning (art for art's sake). Oscar Wilde was a spokesman for aestheicism and published many literary works and poems in support of this movement. The picture of Dorian Gray is his only novel he wrote representing this movement. The Aesthetic Movement In Victorian London the population surged from 1 million to 6 million from 1800 to 1900. There was a lot of new development in construction of new affluent neighborhoods and at the same time horribly overcrowded slums. It was at this time that london got their underground sewage system and Metropolitan police force. Families were large because birth control and contraception were not big at the time, and health improved so children lived past youth. Morals in this era involved secual restraint before marriage, low tolerance of crime and a strict social code of conduct, mostly for the wealthy. Victorian London Victorian London The Wealthy The wealthy during this period enjoyed lavish clothes, lavish homes and lavish lifestyles over all. The Wealthy Poor Victorian London Many people were less fortunate in victorian london, living on the streets and in slums. Most famously prostitutes and women in Whitechapel were killed by serial killer Jack the Ripper. Poor Victorian London Written by Robert Louis Stevenson in 1886, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is the story of a London lawyer named Gabriel who investigates strange occurences between his old friend, Dr. Jekyll, and the evil Mr. Hyde set in Victorian london. In another three hours, the jury came with the verdict of guilty on all counts except one and resulted in two years of hard labor for Oscar Wilde Trial 2 & 3 Overview: Lockwood Round II: Queensberry's temper arouses and threatens Wilde as well as others to make sure the relationship with his son ends. In "The Importance of Being Earnest", the police were called because if his threats to disrupt the production and gives a note to the porter with an offensive message ...this leads to Wilde and Douglas going to Humphrey for Queensberry's arrest. After the first trial with Queensbury was withdrawn, Oscar Wilde had a warrant out for his own arrest. His second trial started on August 26, 1895, located at Old Bailey. The trial was brought about due to the fact that Wilde "faced twenty-five accounts of gross indecencies and conspiracy to commit gross indecencies." On the fourth day of said trial, Wilde was called to the stand. He spoke quietly, (unlike the first trial he had), and denied every accusation of these "indecencies." He was released from trial on bail, May 7, for three weeks until his second trial (or third technically) was to come. Prime Minister Rosebery threatened in aggressive position on Wilde's case These two trials centered on prosecuting Wilde for "gross indecency" in an increasingly anti-homosexual climate. Witnesses were brought to the stand and Wilde was aggressively questioned. Multiple young men: testify to have had relations with Wilde Oscar Wilde: prosecutor, charge against Queensbury for libel The Trials Solicitor-General Frank Lockwood: prosecutor against Wilde Works Cited Queensbury was greatly offended by Wilde's relationship with his son, and took to harrassing Wilde. The writer's breaking point was reached when he recieved a card that stated "To Oscar Wilde posing as a somdomite [sic]." Wilde sued for libel, however Queensbury made it his personal mission to prove that his accusations were more than true.
